In May, we held the official launch of the Greenhouse Initiative, “Food for Taught” in Canossian School by Borouge Pte Ltd, with the support of their partners, Edible Garden City, Vis and Son Company Limited and Yili Farm. This initiative aims to educate the younger generation about sustainable farming practices. Two student emcees, Isabelle Yeo (Pri 5 Joy) and Rhys Fu (Pri 4 Hope), shared with the Borouge team on how our school garden has been a valuable resource for their learning in Science, English and Art. We also showcased some of the students’ projects done using plants from our garden. Four other students; Lucas Hoa (Pri 3 Hope), Nur Adriana (Pri 4 Peace), Valantina Navaraj (Pri 4 Hope) and Foo Chi Yuan (Pri 5 Piety) guided the Borouge team to our garden to grace the opening ceremony. During the opening ceremony, the plaque next to the Greenhouse was unveiled. The Borouge Senior Management representatives accompanied by our students, planted and watered the seedlings for the Greenhouses.
